Sixteen days to Christmas
November just passed, it felt like a hurricane that gave me tons of energy at the beginning and left me drained towards the end.
December 2019 started with me failing an exam for certification at work and having a cold that forced me to be a hostage of my own house these last few days. Main activities have been: lying on the sofa, binge-watching Downton Abbey, sneezing and drinking ginger and lemon tea. As a natural consequence, you find yourself crying every five minutes.
What is to blame? Yourself watching a romantic series, or because December is the saddest month of the year that reminds you that some people are missing in your life and that you are failing your last year resolution, again.
On the bright side, I still have twenty-three days to go before the year ends. And I have beautiful memories of the people that are not with me anymore.
If you need a boost in your gloomy December and have 5 minutes and the right ingredients, try my speed recovery sadness porridge, has no added sugar, it is vegan and gluten-free.
